LED Downlights
Our LED Downlight range is very comprehensive and covers all the styles available on the market. Each downlight has great features that set them apart from the others in the range and can be used to carry out very different tasks. below are some notes on how they differ.
Wide angle downlights : You can tell a wide beam angle downlight by the frosted white lens on the front. If you can't see through this lens then you can be sure the light will produce a very wide 90 - 100 degree beam angle. These downlights are very popular at the moment because they light an area with good consistent even light. However some people feel they can be a little glarey when looking at them in a room.
Narrow angle downlights: Narrow beam downlights will usually have a clear glass lens and you can see the silver reflector and the orange LED chipset. These types of downlights will typically give you a beam angle around 60 degrees and tend to light like old halogen downlights... They focus a strong beam of light onto a specifc task area. This type of lighting can be great to highlight a particular feature and the light from these downlights will not spill into other areas nearby giving you more control of the light. The other great feature is the low glare when viewing these downlights.
