Note: 316 Stainless steel is a great material for outside lights, particularly by the coast however it will require regular cleaning and polishing to look its best for the life of the product. If no maintenance is carried out the product can form a surface rust called tea staining that can be hard to remove.
We have found the best preventative maintenance is to spray some WD-40 on a rag and wipe this over the fitting. Try to do this 2 - 3 times a year and the product will continue to look great.
